Summer FSF Students Reach 'In' During Great Dairy Adventure

MSU CVM Summer FSF students redefined reaching ‘out’ to the public by letting visitors reach ‘in’ to the stomach of a Holstein dairy cow. As part of teh Great Dairy Adventure held at the MSU Pavilion on July 21st, visitors got a chance to look and reach into the 1st stomach of a dairy cow, also known as the rumen.  They learned  how food was processed inthe rumen, eventually providing the nutirents necesary to make milk.  Learn more about the Great Dairy Adventure by clicking here.  Be sure to wathc the video whcih includes FSF student Lindsey Pettengil.
